Here at Why Not Nutrition we do things properly.
We give you the best ingredients to raise those
NO and Big T levels naturally.
Nitric Oxide is produced naturally. It has amazing benefits for your health by allowing vasodilation. By relaxing blood vessels, in turn they widen which means circulation will be much better, allowing blood and oxygen and nutrients to travel to the most important parts of your body.
Some of the key benefits of Nitric Oxide include:
Stimulates testosterone production
Boosts growth hormone
Supports insulin
Lowers blood pressure
Improves brain function as a neurotransmitter
Supports sexual function
Testosterone levels start to drop in your 30s and by 1% every year, from then onwards. That’s bad news for us men as this is our main hormone. The decline can affect mood, strength, sexual function, sleep and can reduce your bone and muscle mass. Obviously, none of this is desirable, leaving lots of men rushing out to get HRT.
Some of the key benefits of Testosterone include:
Bigger muscle mass
Increased sperm production
Increased libido
Helps towards decreasing the loss of beard and body hair
Increased metabolism to burn off fat
Helps towards good heart health
EXERCISE TIP
Train hard with low reps and big weights to help build more testosterone.
It is best to train using exercises that are going to hit large muscles.
Exercises to try:
In addition, try quick interval sprint combos on the treadmill. Walk 15 seconds, sprint 15 seconds, rest 30 seconds. Complete 10 – 20 sets.
Get enough sleep. The Big T is made whilst you are sleeping.
Testosterone is made from healthy fats, so make sure you are getting enough in your diet. Try mixing in a few saturated fats as well. My favourite start to the day is an eggs and avocado breakfast.
Make sure you are consuming your NO foods. These are vital for blood flow circulating to your testes – where 85% of testosterone is made.
Stay away from stress as much as possible. Cortisol is the stress hormone and battles with testosterone for the number 1 spot. As one lowers the other one heightens.
Eat more antioxidant foods. They will protect your NO levels and remember… NO stimulates your testosterone levels, so get eating those blueberries!
Well, at some point I guess it comes to all of us men – the dreaded testosterone slump. It was quite a shock for me. One minute I was feeling motivated and my workouts in the gym were spot on, then I found everything taking a hit.
I just remember suddenly being flooded with a lot of stress, I had a few late nights after a long weekend and surprise… I woke up feeling unmotivated, I didn’t feel like going to the gym, and my mood was low. I felt like I was half the man I was before.
Ironically I was actually studying Nutrition at the time, a Diploma course with Health Sciences… so I began to investigate. That’s when I stumbled across another course, on how to build testosterone naturally.
With the information I learned, I decided to change my lifestyle dramatically!
After a few weeks of getting better sleep, adjusting to my diet and following a testosterone training plan, I was back… back feeling like the man I was before. My motivation, strength and mood were all on point.
After all my research into which foods would be best for NO (Nitric Oxide) and Big T (Testosterone) building blocks, I thought, “wouldn’t it be good if I could have something in powder form to throw into my smoothies…”
After lots of trial and error, I have found a brilliant formula that most definitely works! But don’t just take my word for it… research the ingredients and better yet – give it a try for yourself!
QUICK TIP
Blueberries with your Why Not Nutrition powder is a great smoothie combo to give you a boost throughout the day.
